Treehouse Update

Since Randy is working now, he can only work on the treehouse when he's got small bits of free time. So far, he's got the roof trusses up (I believe that's what they are called), and he's done a lot of bracing on the walls to make them sturdy. He also drove down to Pennsylvania after work to pick up Lamarite Tamko synthetic slate roofing shingles that someone was selling on Craigslist for next to nothing. This is good because the tiles are very beautiful and will really make the treehouse look amazingly great. This is bad because the tiles are heavy and therefore we are trying to work in design ideas that will support the extra weight from the bottom (which will take more time and work). He is trying to get the roof on before winter, but the cold and limited free time slots are making things difficult.
