Too Late to Turn Back Now

Emelina has become a serious fan of Scooby Doo. Too bad I have already gone and told myself that she should have an Ice Age 3 party. In any case, the party is on July 25th from 4-6 PM, and if you are reading this (and if I know you) consider yourself invited. We will have sprinklers, pizza (maybe 4 or 5 pies), and cake. I'm aiming for simple, basic kid party this year, and provided that it doesn't rain, that it's not too hot, and that people actually come to it, it's all good.

Balloon Festival

We were invited to a Balloon Festival, and we were able to stand right in the middle of the field where they blew them up. Bob remembered his camera, and kindly gave us copies of pictures to share.

New Favorite Movie Quote

"I never have woman trouble because I know women, and knowing that, I know you know nothing. There's only one thing you need to know -- never lie to them; that's a sucker's game. First you have to remember what you said and they've got a much better memory and second, it's the one thing they don't forgive, and if they do forgive, they don't forget, and once you lie to them once, everything you say you've got to say to them 50 times before they vaguely believe you and that's so tedious, you break up."

- The Hi Life, 1989, a Netflix Instant movie I am not enjoying as much as I am enjoying this quote.
