I Made a New Blog

This new blog will be about where to take kids in Ithaca. I feel like I am always trying to find places, and everytime I search Google I end up at some other site looking at new places, and then I forget all about them, and keep searching. I finally just sat down and put it all together. Now I just have to wait until Google finds the blog to see if the public can actually get anything out of it. In the meantime, I have to remember to take general pictures of places I go with the kids, cause for some reason, every picture I have of these places has my kids in them. Wonder why. Emy's First Art Commission

Emelina was asked to create several posters for a clinic showing various posters about medicine, medical practices, healthy habits, etc. She had three days. Randy found some big paper in the attic, and here's what she drew.

God

Emy drew a picture of God today. All she knows about God is what I told her -- that some people believe it to be true that He/She/It could possibly be the alien/entity/being(s) that creatively made the Universe like a sculptor makes a sculpture or an artist makes a painting. Lacking any other religious teaching, and prompted only by her imagination, she drew a female with three hands sitting on three serpents and leaning up against a smirking moon while she's spinning the Earth around in the palm of Her hand.

I thought that was interesting.
