Emy's Party Day 1 of 2
Emy's party was originally scheduled for Saturday, but the forecast called for thunderstorms, so we re-scheduled the party for the next day and held a small playdate instead for those kids who wouldn't be able to make it for the day of the party.

Coming Soon for July
My mom will be moving in with us some time later this month for at least a year. We are working on planning for the big move, and making arrangements in the house to allow her her own private space.
Also, I have been planning Emy's birthday party -- this year it will be a "Tweetle Beetle Puddle Paddle Battle" with hopefully a group of girls and boys from her class that will kindly try to spray each other mercilessly with our new water cannons that are quite cool to play with actually. The treehouse is now equipped with a pulley and bucket for transferring things to/from the ground, which will be useful for filling and transferring water balloons that can then be launched off the balcony. Wish the zipline was operational, but that would probably be best to use when Kat is more responsible with her own physical safety - a day does not go buy when she does not hit her head on something.
