No flash, no lights, grey day.

Eventually we will have a window on the back wall which will provide more interior light. When the sun rises, the light hits the front window.

First Commissioned Artwork

A friend of ours in California liked Em's Story Illustrations so much, she asked that Emy make her a drawing with the same characters. Before I could get finished asking Emy if she would do it, she was already at work. What's really cool about this illustration is it takes place after the end of her original story. It's almost like a missing page.

This is a Picture of a Moth.

And...no matter what clothes I put on Kat in the morning, somehow she always ends up in the same dress. She likes dresses.

First Treehouse Campout

Treehouse is Now Operational

It still needs a bit of stain here and there, hardwood flooring needs to be installed inside, but Randy made an awesome well built house.

Casero and the Magic Season

Randy loaded way better scans of Em's illustrations on Facebook.

WSKG Awards Ceremony

WSKG's Director of Education/Outreach Jackie Stapleton: --

Even though she did not win first place, there were several oohs and aahs in the audience, they made a special award category for her, and they added several art supplies in her prize packet that were unique to her gift bag.

School Picnic

First Treehouse Playdate

We invited a couple of Em's friends over for a playdate afterschool today. They celebrated, of course, by holding a "secret" meeting, declaring me the enemy, and ambushed me with their water cannons.
