NYSSMA
Despite a bad cold, and despite her father breaking the rules (he didn't know about) and taking pictures during her cello performance review, she got a perfect score.

Take Your Kid To Work Day
She got to ride the bus into work today with her daddy and they are going to have events for her to attend there that show her what it's like to work there.
She said she was nervous about meeting all the new adults, so I told her to not think of them as strangers but to think of them as potential cookie customers. She got this gleam in her eye, made up some business cards that were so cool looking she said she would sell them for 50 cents each. Not quite what I was aiming for, but she was definitely less nervous after that. And yes, you can flag down the bus to stop at your front door if you live on the route.

Exterior Paint Inspiration
Don't know when, don't know how, but I want my house to be olive; a lighter olive on the house and a darker olive on the trim, and I want rust colored bricks and an olive/camoflage colored lampost.
Here's some interesting colors I have found:
Week Off From School
Monday - We went food shopping at Wegmans. Very exciting. I let the kids pick out what food they wanted for vacation week. Ended up with lots of snacks. Surprise.
Tuesday - We went to Eastlake Recreation Center. For $4 each kid, $8 total, they had an indoor playground all to themselves. Ball pit, large slide, climbing ropes.
Wednesday - We went to the mall. Pet some animals. One kid haircut. Rode some kid mobiles. Got our pictures took in a booth. Spilled some Life cereal inside Sears.
Thursday - Went to Jump Around Inflatables. An indoor inflatable playground.
Friday - We had guests.
Saturday - We went hunting. (See next blog post.)
