Columbus Day

We had visitors this weekend, so we decided to go apple picking at Grisamore Farms. They have the best cider in Ithaca (that I have tasted so far). Fall is not over yet.

September 22nd, night

Emy and I went for a walk to look for toads, and Randy chopped wood.

Cornell Orchards

Autumn is Coming...Already

Leaves have started to change colors on the maple tree. So we collected some to put in Mookies' (Emy's grandma) birthday card. Happy Birthday Mookies!

Picnic Table

One day soon we will have a picnic. We bought this picnic table just in case.

I Mowed the Grass One Day Last Week

Randy bought a great manual mower that even I could use. Never mowed the grass before in my life. This front section of grass was about twice the size of my front lawn when I was a kid.

Emy's Creative Space

This is a picture of Emy's creative space with her easel and desk with bins on the main floor. I might have to redo this picture since it came out darker than I expected it to.

Emy's Room

Here is a pic of Emy's room as it exists right now. We want to put Emy's castle together soon, and then the twin bed won't be on the floor, and she won't sleep on the cot anymore.

September 20th

Today Emy walked into school, took her teacher by the hand to her notebook and wrote for her a list of things that the teacher should teach to her - a to do list. The list says in perfect handwriting "EMHPMHM". Teacher says Emy is a very funny kid.
