Valentine's Day Present

Nemo made not so much snow all things considered.

My husband noticed that despite the fact that we have a fancy new camera, I just didn't take as many pictures as I used to. I hadn't noticed -- I guess I just couldn't seem to frame pictures up the way I had wanted to with a screen; I like viewfinders.  So he decided to get me a present for Valentine's Day -- another camera, the same exact kind of camera we used to have. And weirdly enough, I guess I did miss it. That camera was like my sidekick or something. So anyway, we went sledding today, and...I didn't take pictures. 

I Have A New Job

I now work at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

They study birds there. They have a pretty popular Live Web Camera inside of a blue heron's nest.  And they have a pretty extensive Library.  Sometimes I eat my lunch (usually rice and beans) out of a thermos over by the big windows and watch the ducks swim in the pond.
