Road Trip Planning

I have finally decided that we shall go on vacation next summer. Running the dates into Amtrak's website, I have learned that it could cost us about two grand to travel first class to our destination, which squashes that idea entirely.

So...it is going to be a heck of a road trip since flying is also completely out of the question. Along the way, I am wondering about things we might stop to see.

That is how I found this nifty blog. I am going to have to a lot of research ahead of me.

First Day of School Ever (Pre-K)

Kat wanted to use a small pink backpack for school but her blanket for naptime didn't fit. I told her she'd have to use the blue one, and she was not happy about that at all. Luckily Emy fixed everything by letting Kat have the quilt she made over the summer which fit inside the pink bag perfectly.

She made the dress herself on her new sewing machine that she got for her birthday (with Terry's help.) Looking at this picture, it occurs to me that I probably should have ironed it.
