Puerto Rican Food in Geneva, NY
Had a craving for Cuban food since we used to be able to get it easily in LA. But ironically, we only ever shifted to craving Cuban food because there was absolutely no Puerto Rican food in LA. So...Randy searched for Cuban OR Puerto Rican food in Ithaca hoping beyong hope, and what do you know? Puerto Rican food restaurant is about 1 1/2 hour away from here. Too far you say? Well, if you have ever been to LA, you know that any trip to a restaurant can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 1/2 hour due to unexpected traffic in a blink of an eye. So, totally worth the drive to us. Larry went, too. He had the spicy pork picnic with arroz con gandules. I had the pork with mofongo. Mofongo is served as a side. They have pasteles, so long as you call in advance. Everything was good. Nothing tasted like MSG. Everything was fresh. I am telling you, it's a good thing this place is as far as it is, our I might be tempted to go to the lunch buffet everyday.

The Pie Chronicles
The tree in the backyard decided to produce apples this summer. They aren't much to look at, but I tried making a pie. The pie disappeared very quickly that evening. Next day, Randy decided to pick some more apples, and peel them, so I had no choice but to make another pie. Well, that one also disappeared after every one was asleep. Three pies, and I think maybe I've had two slices, Emy and Kat don't eat pie, so where or where could they have all gone?
